  1. We bought while stationed at lakenheath 1985 .
At auction in East Anglia, think it was oak or wal Screenshot_20210314-171340_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20210314-171348_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20210314-171403_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20210314-171340_Gallery.jpg nut or mahogany and I was told then it was at least 125+ years old in 1985.
But that being almost 40 yrs ago and brain diminishing over time + 8 moves later....can you help? It has 2 wooden bars that mount to the back and supports 2 half mirrors and one larger mirror in the center. Without putting it together I do have 1 of the half mirrors and reverse wooden of full mirror in photo.

Christine, at a glance, one can see that it's nowhere near 125+ years old (in 1985), which would make it mid-Victorian. With those strong linear handles and curved mirror, it appears to be Art Deco era. Others will have more to add as to wood, etc.

Agree with Debora, but maybe 1940's early 50's even. Really don't know, just guessing.

It's post WW2 and oak. If you can find a mark which says CC41 that will pin it as Utility.

  10. could it be tiger oak as the wood grain seems to look like that?

Nope, it's just typical British oak.
