metal, everywhere I turned

And a carved wood mystery

The magic number is 4 and 1/2

Bell I that tall
The iron piece is that wide
The twin cups, yes, that tall

Yes, and it is heavy enough too.

I thought about a candle - or a stand to show something beautiful

The bottom has four little bumps as feet
The top opening is a little wider then the bottom.

What’s so curious about it is that it is so substantial.

 

at 1st glance I was thinking the one in the first photo was a double pickle castor...
but the walls are kinda high and the handle kinda low.....
soooo....condiment holder???.......oil & vinegar ???

I don’t see it on the cup - confirmed orientation via stains and shapes of hand tooled design - nonetheless I checked each instance that design element repeats facing up and then down around the cup.
