I don’t see a KPM mark on the reverse and am now concerned about the authenticity of what I have purchased. I know that it is after a Cleopatra painting by Coomans. Plaque size is a little over 5x7. Condition is good and it appears old. I appreciate help on who made this, when, and approximate value. Thank you!!!!

This seems to be the maker of the Frame https://peguerin.com/

Someone will likely know more about the plaque.

It looks good and well painted. You may find that the metalware forum can give you a better idea of the date from the structure and style of the frame.

@Michael Skourtes - Hello & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

Someone will jump in to correct me if I am incorrect but my SWAG would be Art Nouveau period on the frame what with all those curly flourishes & the image at the top of the frame.

As far as the plaque I do think it is period but have no idea if it is KPM. You may want to look at it closely to see if there are any impressed marks on the front, back, or sides. If so try to get a clear close-up photo to post.

Also if you could get a few good clear close-up photos of the painted portion that may tell if it was done by a quality maker like KPM or not.
