Is this Civil War memorial pewter, and which side?

I found this at my local Goodwill I think the 6 1/2" tankard is antique. is stamped James Dixon & Sons and Rowell Oxford.
Can someone tell me what I have?

This one says Oxford University Rifle Volunteers, maybe they were O.U. Rifle Club previously. It also has EW. Colt Williams on it.
