Very large triangular glass bowl with "rolled" rim and raised base (marie?) with ground and polished rim. It's not quite symmetrical but measures about 16" x 16" and ranges from 3" to 4" high at the angles. Weighs 5 1/2 lbs. No marks.

    Any ideas on the maker?

You might check into Viking. I couldn't find your piece on the Viking Glass collector website, but I found a similar piece on eBay.

Foot rings that are ground flat like yours are not typical for Viking, but it did happen depending on the piece. Although Viking did take some inspiration from Scandinavian designs, so it's possible yours is one of the originals from there.

From the Viking book by Dean Six:

Hope that's legible. The photo as printed in the book is a tiny 2" x 3" example.
