Can’t find any reference to the design - Markon or Muzkon?? And no idea about other numbers U.25h? Help appreciated. It’s 8 cm high. Thanks. AC001F38-9AF9-47C9-9963-ACB271F27F66.jpeg

Marken, a fishing village near Amsterdam. Just like neighbouring Volendam, the fishing village where the 'Dutch' costumes were worn, Marken has been an inspiration for artists.

This is from the book The World of Gouda Pottery by Ritvo.

The pattern name Marken was a first period name. No image shown. Early in they seemed to use a single letter as a year mark then from 1906-1917 they used no date mark. From 1918-1932 they used changing symbols to show the year, none of which are close to yours.

I'm guessing you have artist initials but don't know. I've added the list of first period artist's with names ending in S. Not sure what the other initial is. The dates are the years they were at PZH.

    Marken:

It is the name of the village and of the former island it was built on.

The women's costume is the oldest and one of the most colourful costumes of the Netherlands:
