    I see the listing has ended......was he metal, papier maché? What size was he/it???

    It looks like a proper antique to me. I'd guess ca 1900-1910.

    This one seems old!
    One just sold in a french tv show for 800€:woot:They were still made in the 1960's.
    I got one for my 5th Bday:oldman::)
    I always wanted a dog... this one though false was cherished!
    He had wood casters, glass eyes, noddle head with proper bulldog collar, opened his mouth and growled when pulling the leash, made of plastered papier mâché flocked in black and white.
    I named him "bagnole", french slang for car, because of his four wheels:joyful: Resized_20180822_151532001.jpeg
