Are these little schnauzers by Carl Scheidig Gräfenthal? Age?

Hello! Picked these porcelain pups up today. On googling I see one (with a chipped ear) that is very similar that is attributed to Carl Scheidig Gräfenthal. It looks like his pieces have makers marks on them. This one does not but it does have the impressed pattern no. 7590 that corresponds with that one listing I found. Do you know if CS had any unmarked pieces? Other listings I have found of dogs and other animals date them from 1920-30s. Do you think this piece is that age or a newer 'remake'? All input welcome, thank you

I think you're alright with Scheidig because it has a traceable model number.

Thanks! I was trying to find a source of the model numbers but no luck. I thought it was odd that there was no maker's mark but the impressed numbers didn't strike me as a Japan copy.

It probably never had a mark, but I think the Scheidig mark was over glaze, so it may have been lost over time, maybe even erased.

Great info, much appreciated! Any way of telling what age it could be without tracing the model number? I don't have a trained enough eye to distinguish glazes etc :pompous:

I think it must be between 1906 and 1935, I´ve got another one - without label too.. It´s Scheidig definitely..
