LAMP LOOKS LIKE A TREE WITH "ROOTS" FOR THE BASE?

    This is another unusual piece I found at a local estate sale this week-end. It's a table lamp that has what looks like the roots of a tree for a base (the body/shaft looks like a tree limb)
    It is made of heavy metal - maybe wrought iron?
    Has anyone seen anything like this before?!

    I haven't seen one like it , but I think it would make a great home defense weapon in disguise. I wouldn't want that thing swinging towards me!

    Such a Tim Burton feel to this lamp. I know nothing about it, but I'm going to spend some time dreaming up the perfect shade for it. :hilarious:

    Haven't seen similar, it does look like iron maybe. It's pretty cool. Always include close-up photos of the plug and socket, the plug is a good way to help with dating.

    I can see why you left your own estate sale to go to this one. (Reference from the score with the 2-headed poodle bookends post. :))
