Hello Board Buddies - I gave up trying to figure out the mark on this one as it doesn't seem to match any of the marks I could find. There is only a Crown over a short illegible series of letters or numbers, the number 34 and the incised number 12723. She's about 3 1/4" tall and about 2 7/8" long. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
    Don

Eriksen is the designer of the original 'Little Mermaid' bronze statue

I think that mark is Wagner & Apel of Lippelsdorf.

Terry is absolutely correct. When I think of Royal Copenhagen, I always remember the waves:

Since 1775, every piece of porcelain that has left Royal Copenhagen carries its factory marks; the three waves, the royal crown and the painter's mark. These are symbols of authenticity, the royal connection and the mark of handcraftsmanship.

I think it probably is, too. Don, can you read what's under the crown?
    Does it look like this?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

This is all I pick up on the back........it "looks" like under the crown it says 34, but off sideways.....this is imprinted......

es, that does look like the mark.

It looks much more like that than any of the RC marks I've seen. I only researched Danish companies, not German, silly me! Thank you all so much!
