Featured Round End Table - Antique?

When I was at the resale shop, a purportedly antique table was being proffered as a paintable piece. The friend I was with was clearly distressed at this idea and insisted I buy it. I agreed because he was so upset that this antique would be defaced in this way. Before I spend time restoring this table, and putting it to use, I just want to confirm it is indeed an older table.

There is a tag - HR Sadler Furniture of Denver Colorado 1724-1730 Welton Street in Denver Colorado. Here is his bio from the History Colorado collection:
"Henry Richard Sadler founded the Sadler Furniture Company of Denver in 1895. The business was located at 1651 Arapahoe Street in Denver, next to the Rocky Mountain News Building. In addition to furniture sales, the store also sold custom made cabinets, refinished and upholsters furniture and offered specialty services including gilding of frames and decorative pieces. The company remained in business until around 1955.

Born in Gloucestershire, England in 1861, Henry Richard Sadler came to the United States in 1887 and settled in Denver in 1889. In 1891 he was working as a furniture finisher at a shop at 2246 Welton and in 1892 as a furniture maker."

It is 29 inches high and 23 inches in diameter. So antique or yet another vintage piece? Any help appreciated.

 

I did a quick search to see when those tabletop fasteners were first used, but found nothing.

There is a lot of work in those feet, so I would lean on the antique side.

Ghopper. Thank you. It is going into a pretty obscure spot that is currently occupied by a vintage end table, but at least it won't be painted blue.

 

Can't make out the name on the tag - looks like it starts H.R. and ends in OLER. And the address looks like it could be 1724-1730 Wilton St, Dewsbury, which is in England, south of Leeds.

I appreciate you trying to figure out the tag, but it says "The H. R. Sadler Furniture Company 1724-1730 Welton Street in Denver (Colorado)." I confirmed this through the History Colorado Collection, which has examples of his work. History Colorado Collection (sydneyplus.com)
