So I posted this on another forum, but I'm still on the hunt to figure out what exactly my grandmother left me. From what the nice man told me, it appears to have cherub carving that looks Italian or Spanish and is possibly from the 18th century. However, I still can not seem to find a value or another similar to this exact one. I would love any information on this beautiful work of craftsmanship. Thank you!

Welcome ! It's a bit creepy - the 4th photo sort of suggests a cherub was beheaded. No disrespect intended.

    Hello and welcome.
If you go back to your post, hit edit, then hit full image. The pictures of your chair will show so people on phones can see them.

Pull up the cushioned seat (these are typically floating and not attached) and take a picture of the corner blocks from above and below. If the seat doesn't come out, then turn the chair upside down and take a picture of what is hidden under the seat cushion.

or perhaps sell the cushion as the one Marylin Monroe sat on and make more money ?:D

    Welcome to the forum, emer27son.
Great chair, but the furniture people will want to see more of the construction, hence Jeff's suggestion.
Here are two of your photos full image, you will get more eyes on them if you post them this way:

Wow James that looks spot on! Thank you all for the responses and warm welcome. Im sorry about the images on my original post not being full image! I tried to find the edit button on the original post, but I can only seem to see "thread tools" and in that there is only "ignore thread" But you guys sorted it out for me so thank you! Here are some more photographs without the cushion (sorry for the quality- not the best photographer haha): 41702103_1107367246083466_7271527086945206272_n.jpg

Welcome! This would be a nice mate to the tete-a-tete I got a few years ago.

Hello! Your beautiful corner chair is most definitely Renaissance Revival, and was popular circa 1880 to 1900ish.

Probably made in France or Belgium or another nearby area.
