Sayada I noticed that you want certain members to help you. The best way to do this is to use the @ before the member's name in the body of your post. After the first few characters, a drop down menu will appear and you can select the member you want to summon for example @Any Jewelry

Thanks Kiko. I want as many people's help as I can but if I don't add the names I don't get any help. Nobody replied to my Foo dogs and Pottery.

I’m not sure adding them as part of a poll works to notify them. @i need help does
    That work.

No it doesn't work that way. . .Davey tried to explain that to Sayada in another thread.

Sayada, sorry to say sometimes it takes several days for people to answer some posts. . .either we don't have any info or we just totally miss a posting. Just as an illustration - you listed my name in the 'poll' at the beginning of this post and I know absolutely nothing about Buddha, and since none of the names you listed will get email notices, you are just wasting your time filling out the poll.

You are best off starting your threads and waiting to see what responses you get. Sometimes you will get lots of answers and then other times you might not get any responses. That is just the way it works.

Please continue to post things for us to see and try to help with, and don't get discouraged if some items get very little new information for you.

Sorry, but that doesn't make sense Sayada Mona. As wisc said, writing random names in a poll doesn't mean people get notified.
You can tag them, as Kiko did, but please don't tag a list of people just because they told you something about an unrelated item. It is very likely they know nothing about a subject like this, and get an alert when they could be helping someone else.
The only reason I looked was because it appeared in the new thread list on the right hand side of the page. Later on I would have found Kiko's tag in my alert list.

As for the Foo Dogs thread, it had 48 views. It seems people who looked had nothing to add. That happens sometimes.

Anyway, back to the Thai item. Just wondering, how do you know it is one piece, when you can't look under the gesso and gold, did someone tell you? It is very likely some parts were carved separately.
Our Thai specialist is not here, but I can tell you it is not a Buddha. It could be an Apsara, or celestial nymph.

Could we see the bottom please?

As 'Any Jewelry' said, most of these newer figures were made in pieces then decorated. These are likely vintage aka 20th century. I used to see a lot of the jeweled -mirrored 'celestial' figures sold in places like Pier One or TJ Maxx. They were also sold via tourist trade. You can do a search for completed sales on eBay as well as liveauctioneers.com

Sayada. All of us who post things here hope that many members will see it and have something to say. It is an honor to have someone take their time to comment. I very rarely tag anyone, because I know their participation is voluntary, and that their time is quite valuable.
I post things and no one will comment on them. I accept that they have nothing to offer of a helpful nature. I always research my item on Google before I post it here. In my experience, this will greatly enhance your knowledge, as you will see and learn about many similar pieces.

Thanks everyone. Please don't get upset, I will not tag any name anymore. I am sorry about that. I will just put Jack and Jill.

Somebody told me that it is all one piece and a very old piece. I tried many places online and antique stores I couldn't find any information or a second piece like this. You guys are experts if you can find a similar one or any information please let me know. Thank you.

No need to put anything. It is a poll, where people have to vote, and it would be silly to chose between Jack or Jill. Just ignore the fact that there is the possibility for a poll. If you don't select it, it won't appear.

I believe your carving is from Burma/Myanmar, rather than Thailand, and depicts a "Nat" spirit. It might date from the Mandalay period, 1853-1948. This should at least give you some more research options.

I thought it might be Burmese, with that doll-like face, although not as doll faced as many other Burmese figures.

Here is one, with a sold price. It is different from yours though, and in better condition:
    https://www.catawiki.com/l/15536335-antique-wooden-spirit-nat-statue-burma-late-19th-century

In spite of the condition, I prefer yours. I like that the face has been touched a lot by the faithful, it isn't as pristine looking.

The two hands are very different from each other.
I suspect the left hand is a replacement, the original could have been damaged or lost at some stage. It could even be something like these, from Bali, only gilded:
