Featured Help required to identify gemstone In 14ct gold bangle?

Good afternoon all. Hope all is well.

I require some help identifying the stone on this 14ct yellow gold diamond and green stone bangle.

The stone which I think may be a tourmaline has a lovely glow and radiance about it.

Please let me know your thoughts?

Hello Vic, that is a gorgeous bangle. Do you know of somewhere you can have it tested?
It is impossible to tell from a photo because there are so many possibilities with stones like these, but on my shortlist would be topaz and spinel. A test will show which stone it is.

 

They could also be glass, I've had gold jewelry set with glass.

 

Agree, I think colour wise it most looks like (sky blue) topaz, it could be spinel, but I think I can see facet doubling (which would rule out spinel), as AJ says the only way you can tell though is to have it tested.

Looks a lovely piece whatever the stones turn out to be.

 

Are there reflections on the stones or a lot of air bubbles inside the stones?

What do the marks look like? Sometimes there's a clue there.
