My SiL is having a yard sale tomorrow, and had literally TONS of silver plate silverware, with only about 20 pieces of Sterling thrown in....but I pulled this little 4 1/4" souvenir cutie spoon just because it was just that.....cool!! Does anyone still collect them?? I tried checking Eboor and found practically NIL.....it says "STANDARD" on the back...that's all! Thank you one and all for anything!!! I DO remember there was a thread on here some time back, once upon a time, but I try and am NO good at finding them.....trust me!!!!

I haven’t had much success selling them unless they’re sterling to be honest. Unless they’re very rare. There’s a collector website out there. I’ll see if I can find it.

That's SO BIZARRE....FIRST thing I did was check ebay, and came up with NO matches....and only a couple of souvenir spoons of ANY kind!!! THANKS, @wiscbirddog!! Funny that the Sterling one is $7.50 and the Standard one is $17.00 !!! AND a couple others called Coney Island had different 'handles' but the bowls were the same!

Sweet little spoon, but neither of those on eBay are sterling, both are silverplate. I have some plated spoons in my collection, acquired for their designs, but their value is usually low - yours is late 19th-early 20th century, would typically sell for less than $10. The handles and bowls on souvenir spoons were usually struck with separate dies, so that variations could be made.

Just a quick note on the 'spoonplanet' site - while the owner has corrected many errors over the years, it still has quite a bit of misinformation...
