Silver Flatware from...? India? Necklace clue?

I found a small set of flatware up for grabs that I’m interested in. It seems to be marked just “silver” based on the one photo of the back I have to work with. I’ve seen this on Asian silver enough times. Mostly on Chinese jewelry but on other stuff too. Another item from the same owner was suggested to be Indian. I did find an interesting necklace that was part of their possessions. I’m wondering if maybe the necklace came from the same place the silverware did? I don’t have experience with silverware from India and how it’s marked. Maybe someone here does or can help ID the origin of the necklace?

I guess that won’t be too much of a help if it’s just random costume. Thought it may be specifically ethnic.

 

The earring hooks are pretty standard, not ethnic. I'd say pass.
