Featured cat sculpture

I recently bought this rather strange ceramic sculpture of a cat. There are no obvious makers marks (a small indistinct circular punch mark on the base). Looks to be a studio piece - does anyone have an idea of the maker or seen anything similar?

Hello Artcurious. Everyone is going to want more pictures and will suggest, that when loading pics, you tick the first box (which offers the option of loading them full size). That looks like an interesting cat.

 

Knee jerk is a student piece,but a cool one. Always include a pic of the bottom even if theres no mark,youd be surprised what people can tell .Welcome.

 

I don't know anything about it... except that I love it.

Most people prefer you click the "full size" button on your post (and they will want more pictures, particularly of the bottom).

 

I do not see "student piece" in this one, but I may be blinded by my love.
