Maybe Japanese? I think it's a form of pottery rather than porcelain from the look of it. It's not really to my taste but then that's me.

You mark says "Made in Japan". It's just a little smudged.

By the condition and style is it possible to assign a related age circa, just to catalog it ?

 

To me it looks too fresh to be older than the fifties but I'm no expert.

I agree Made in Japan in the Capodimonte style.
It was copied from the Italian wares.
1960s-70s Trinket box.
