Yeah, "slowly" is the name of the game around here. I have lots of craft work I've done over the years, too.

Also have childhood artwork that my sister and I did that my parents saved. Hate to throw it away, but there's no one on earth who would want it... even if I paid them to take it!

 

I've donated stuff here and there, but I have a hunch a lot of it ends in the trash. I don't want to know about it.

 

I'm too picky to donate to the big "thrifts" lol - I found a small animal shelter rents some space and bring my stuff to them. They were thrilled to see, what they called, "real antiques" and I told them, don't worry about the "antique value" just sell them for whatever you can make and help your pets! They did that too, because the next time I brought them some stuff, the first stuff was gone. I don't want to know about it either!

 

That's a great idea. I should check if there's anything similar here.

 

Most of mine goes to my university's medical center thrift or my church's "clothes closet"; the latter gives things away for free one morning a month. I've hit antiques/collectibles there a few times but it's mostly for clothing and small housewares.
