Featured help with carved wood figure

check out them big, big toes !!

found this today, must have taken one hella long time to carve i imagine, if carved from one piece of wood

wondered if anyone could help with info, as im not finding any like it

any thoughts appreciated

i like the view from the back more actually, he looks quite blissfull !

 

And it looks like whoever carved him had a fun time doing it!!!! AND that's ALL ONE piece of wood?????!!!! N I C E.....!

looks like classic folk art.....but from a really talented carver.....
i'm surprised he didn't leave a mark.....his mark !....that I can see...

hi inh, unfortunately not, its just a ring or grain from the wood

i cant believe the walking stick, must have been so hard to get right without breaking !!

 

yeah, just wood grain

i nearly got his big toe up my nose while looking though !!

 

it's superb..........

could be, i think its a bowler hat as well so most prob uk
