Hello, all! I'm new here, but I hope that someone might be able to give me some information on my spoons.

I've had these for about thirty years, but I’ve never been able to find any information on them. I don't think they're silver. Best guess would be brass... maybe pewter? There is enamel work on two of them. I thought they might be Turkish?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, G.P. If you can still edit your post, it might be good to get the word 'spoon' into the title. Some of our members are serious spoonies; you want to make sure they see your question. They look like enameled brass to me.

They all look middle eastern. We saw quite a few in Turkey.

Yup, Turkish, seen them there. Might be low grade silver. Nicely done.

All solved thanks to patd and obb.:)
Pretty spoons. I don't know if the filigree one is Turkish as well, but the others will know.

Thank you! I think they're pretty, too, and now I know they're Turkish, which is great!

I always thought they might be Turkish. I think they're brass. Someone else thought they might be low grade silver. I know they're not worth very much, but I’ve always thought they were pretty. Thanks! I appreciate your help, and everyone else's, too!
