    Hi All,
I tried to find this mark on Potteries.org.
0194F471-5729-48D9-A4C7-D961F9230480.jpeg 978A8F24-24CE-4D03-8140-1C3AF142556C.jpeg 84693065-9FAA-4830-930D-13D54196427B.jpeg I got confused. I looked at Soho Potteries and didn’t find this mark. Any help is appreciated, Thank you! I’m also wondering about all the crazy crazing. Is it fake? Or damage?

How big? Do you think this is tableware or decorative? Latter I hope. The crazing looks deliberate.

Kovel's has it. Soho Potteries, Tunstall Staffs, 1901+ and I'd imagine pre-1918. The reference also mentions Simpsons Potteries Ltd.

Yeah, but you're always finding things when no one else manages to. Given the date range for Solian Ware, crazing appropriate to age.

I don’t know why I got it. Maybe because it was .99 , now what to do with it! :arghh:

It might be a nice project for a restoration if you've wanted to try peroxide or another method to lighten the crazing.

The kind of peroxide you but at a hair dressers supply shop. You might also try oxy-clean.

    HI,
I would NOT use high strength peroxide on this plate. I would NOT use the
peroxide since it has a nasty habit of bleaching reds to light pink. I never use the high strength peroxide on anything but pure white ironstone.

Thanks Greg, I doubt there is much value to this plate in either case. :) Thanks for the warning.

Thanks for your warning Greg. I used to use the peroxide on colorful pieces with no ill affect. I usually then soaked them in clear water for a while.
