Has anyone seen another Ferrari shirt like this one?

I found this shirt at a thrift store Friday. The tag says NOTA BENE which I believe is a real clothing company, but after that it says: copia non conforma all' originale TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH - copy does not conform to the original

Is this a knock off? And do they say they are copies on their tags in Italy (tag also says Made in Italy)?

I tried searching for NOTA BENE Ferrari shirt but nothing like it came up.

Any help would be appreciated - I know a Ferrari shirt is expensive but one as cool as this would be even more so; I just need some info on it so I can post it on ebay!

NOTA BENE is Latin for "Notice." It does appear you have a knock-off.

Huh? Sounds like others also did not know that nota bene is not a brand name, it's an instruction to take notice, in this case to be aware that this is a copy that is not the same as the original.

At least it's an honest knockoff; it says it's not the real deal.

 

If that was a joke, OK…if not, sorry it’s an illegal appropriation of a copyrighted and protected name and image meant to deceive.

 

I can appreciate the irony of an honest thief - someone who'll steal but not lie.
