Is this pot Identifiable?

    Well I struck out with my last two post to this forum. Going for strike three :punch:.

    There is a simple mark on the bottom of this piece and wondering if anyone has seen it before. Feels like a quality piece but have my doubts. No real age but is it vintage or new? 5”H X 7.5”W

    I think it shows some promise, though, I really have no pottery knowledge. I flipped your photo, and think I see an "T A"

    I remember when I presented some Icelandic pottery, @johnnycb09 thought it looked like German lava pottery.

    Thank you for that tidbit. Searching lava pottery now, very interesting. was hoping the unusual color clay on the bottom might lead to its origin.

    I looked when Jonny brought it up and that’s why I noticed the resemblance. Hope you find something.
