Hey guys is this a Eastlake? I'm thinking it's late 1800's? Yes? Is $450 a fair price on this? thumbnail (5).jpg thumbnail.jpg thumbnail.jpg

Yes, Eastlake, side lock chest of drawers looks like, $450.? sounds like a decent price to me if in good condition.

The burl accents would be a veneer but, otherwise, solid walnut. If a side-lock and in great condition, $450.00 is not a bad price. You might find one cheaper elsewhere but might have to look a long time.

Assuming it is for personal consumption. $450 is a reasonable price here in the central Iowa market.

Only for a side-lock. If not a side-lock, I think your $250 would be about max.

Isn't sure it is a side lock but it looks like one, there is what looks like a key hole half way down the left hand stile. Pics leave much to be desired.

Similar form here, sold at Bradfords in Kansas City, only the "lock side" is on the right hand stile.

lol, Yeah, is! bet it was made in same factory. According to Bradford, maple drawer construction & original drawer pulls so given that, $450. in a retail setting seems fair to me.
