Featured Need help with this bracelet please.

A friend sent me these photos & asked if I could help her out with this bracelet.

I told her that the only thing I could tell from the photos is that the inserts had to be man-made since they are all identical. She did not say what they were made from but if I had to guess I would say plastic or glass.

I know I have seen this construction before but have no clue as to where or when.

Any information as to country of origin, age, if there is a common term for this type of bracelet, or anything else would be much appreciated.

Beautiful panel bracelet! I think most likely Czech glass. That white cab may be uranium glass.
Others more experienced will be along in a minute!

I was totally expecting y'all to say plastic & date it to the 1950's to 1960's.

That goes to show you that I have much more to learn about jewelry.

So was it just experience or is there something about the construction that clued you into the origins?

The plaques are classic Neiger, I've a bracelet with them. Back looks complex enough to be them, too.

I looked at a Google search for Neiger bracelet & did see a few with similar construction.
