Really a nice box, and something mad to retore too…
Do you think the parts with the dot are originals, the quality on the picture seems to be not good at the panels ?

 

Indeed,if you look at the very first piture, you can see that the irovy all around the inner top lid is different from the original broken trim pieces on the outer boarder(poor choice for restoring) I have already decided to replace it all with matching aged pieces.

Looking at the details as possible, the form of the piece around is not good and not match to the box profile border.

 

Hou la la... I'd be afraid to use my usual "tricks" on this beauty
For the gourd vase, a piece of abalone engraved and domed would be perfect IMHO
The ivory need a professional repair
