Featured ID of Garden of Eden, Eve and snake brooch

    Does anyone recognise this please?
    About 1.5” across and stamped 925 and mysteriously 33.9- Any ideas on the 33.9 or the maker.

    33.3 is 8k gold , so it might have just over 8k gold
    Is the centre gold or plated ?

    nice.
    agree with davey. frame sterling silver, inset not really gold but copper alloy possibly with gold. in many countries not sellable as gold.

    That didn’t occur to me it had a gold content, I just assumed copper or brass. I’ll test it when I get home. Thankyou

    Not sure, I’ll test when I get home. I’ve been a bit slow on the uptake with this one as I didn’t realise that the 33.9/3 could mean a gold content so assumed it would be glass. I’m on it now!
