Featured Victorian 14K flower brooch/pendant seed pearls

    I've had this for a while - just looked at it closely the other day.
    It turns out it's missing a pearl, but also that it's marked 14K with what looks like a cross stamp on the clasp.
    The ring for the pendant twists and folds down.

    What do you think?

    I agree, a Maltese cross. My guess an American maker's mark.

    That would fit in with the clasp, period-wise.

    Will the missing pearl make a huge difference in selling price? I could have the jeweler next door move one from one of the inner leaves.

    Actually, I just remembered that I probably have some antique seed beads hanging around at my store? Should I?

    I'd probably leave it to the next guy. Better as is than a mistake when repairing.
