Can you post your pictures here please? Most people here won't click the links off site. I'm sorry I did. I had to close my browser to get out of there and couldn't see your pictures either. All I got was a gray overlay and a pop up asking me to join.

Id guess 1920s-30s . A very nice quality set in a faux French style. You about cant give brown furniture away these days, but the condition on yours looks very nice, almost unused. Value depends on where you are . In N Fl that might bring in $ 4-500 . Maybe even $1000. But in Iowa it might bring $200.Is that lamp on the dresser marble ?

Do you know what company actually made the set? Do you live in an area where the Jordan Marsh name is well known?

Near Washington DC and the lamp is Alabaster from Spain. Valuable?

No not sure and near Washington DC. Boston would have been better.

Can you get a closer pic? it sorta looks art deco from what I can tell.Depending on how close to DC,Id think someone there might be interested. Its a classic look.

I don't believe that the current location of this furniture ("near Washington DC" ) is going to be "better" or "worse" than Boston... What you're looking at here is "good department store" furniture - nice, but not super special stuff. Jordan Marsh itself was never a presence in the DC area, and it seems likely that someone who lived in the DC area brought the furniture with them when they moved there.

As Bakers indicated, Jordan Marsh likely did not MAKE this furniture; they retailed it.

These posts always make me a bit sad because nice furniture like this “shouldn’t” (in my mind) be worth less than 2 IKEA beds. Yet often they are.

    size will be the problem.
I agree though about IKEA being krapp.

Being in Iowa, I have to agree with Johnny on what it might fetch. These items are like the ones you see at the end of an estate sale where they are almost begging people to take them away. Alabaster lamps don't seem to command much attention either. That being said, they are all good quality items, but the market just isn't there at the present time.

Late teens -20s. Others' comments are spot-on. Probably won't have much interest in the beds. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, the dresser would be $150.00 tops at retail and probably under $100.00 for the vanity and bench. The chair is maybe $20.00 tops. You can probably do a little better in the DC area but usually have to discount off retail when selling as an individual. Sad state of affairs that such nice furniture is worth so little.
