    Can you help me identify this mark? It’s on a porcelain bowl.
    Thank you

    Can you show the bowl? It might jog something loose.

    @R.H
    You sure are revealing this bowl very slowly, bit by bit, like a striptease act, LOL.

    Just bare all in your first post if you want something identified. Don't make us beg and wait with bated breath for pictures of the entire bowl, measurements, etc.
    :p:rolleyes:

    here's a good tip.....

    when you're looking for something online....don't you want to see a picture of the whole item?

    and then....close ups of important angles.....;)

    just like us here !!!:happy::happy:

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Welcome to Antiquers, @R.H -- All I can tell is there is a monogram in the center of the oval, and it looks like an M and an I (or possibly F). That would refer to the maker or the pattern, but unfortunately none of the words appear to be readable.

    @Aquitaine , can you do anything to edit the logo to make it any clearer?

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    I JUST got online, and am trying, but truthfully, even inverted, difficult....right now I'm seeing 3 feet or shoes!!!....I know....NOT GOOD!!! Still trying!!
    @Figtree3, UPDATE....Unless this is some kind of podiatrist's foot soaking bowl, then
    I am at a loss!!! Showing below what I have come up with, which, truly makes NO sense to ME!!! I was able to partially darken around the left side of the perimeter to try to bring out those mostly NOT THERE letters, but I can't quite make out what they say.....The first three seem to say 'Amc'...after that will take a better detective than I am!! I STILL see one Dutch type shoe and two feet within the oval! Frankly to me, it also looks more like a bunch of broken bones in there! And I've highlighted with arrows the 2 other strange things I saw on the outside of the oval that I COULD make out....also tried reducing some of the black around the lettering outside on the right side, but it didn't help much at all.....wish I could have done more....

    Wonderful work! And your imaginative comments made me laugh. Imagination helps in finding identifications, too!

    Still not seeing the whole bowl. Let me show you my sleeve, and you can guess what the rest of the dress looks like.
