Help with Design Source- "Rainaud 20" Table Lamp Marriage

Here I have a 22.5" H cast metal Art Nouveau painted lamp base from the Rainard Co of Meridan, CT. The handled urn post and ivy foot garland are straightforward, but someone added a metal beastie to it. It must be a phoenix, but from what culture? Chinese? Italian? I am going to have my favorite lamp shade lady make a resurrection lamp shade for it, due to the fires that have so greatly impacted my life. https://www.peacockgypsy.com/ Sorry they are so dark, it is very smoky today here in Oregon.

Love your lamp base! Very cool. Love the dragon on there as well. Could it be original to the lamp? If I'm not mistaken, I think the lamp company is "Raynaud." Is your signed "Rainard?"

Please show a picture of the lamp when you get the shade on it!!

 

RAINAUD. My bad! I could not find an exact match for the base, despite the number "20". The way the phoenix is attached looks post-market to me, but maybe...??? It should have had a slag glass shade once, according to other examples online.

No marks, and it's magnetic.

 

@Ghopper, looks like it says RAINAUD, but the initial 'R' is a bit weak.....there's a '20' way over to the right side as well.....so maybe the flying dragon WASN'T added????

There are a lot of Rainaud table lamp images on-line. None have figural embellishments. I'm convinced it's a marriage.
