The silver bracelet is heavy and chunky, no precious metal, seems to have a lot of work in it, and is maybe imitating Mexican sterling bracelets. Any ideas about age and origin appreciated. No marks on it.

The gold bracelet appears contemporary, no precious metal, 2 little glass cabochons on the ends of the toggle bar, has a good weight, and a mark I can't make out. Any ideas about the mark?

    Thanks!

Toggle one might be Cabochon, possibly. 80s into 90s.

The silver is way older, 20s or 30s I suspect.

Thanks OBB. Is Cabochon the name of a company?

The toggle looks fairly recent, but I can't read the maker either. The bracelet does say Deco; the back is really "Industrial" design and the front looks like 1930s movie theater lighting sconces. (LOL)

Yes, Cabochon was an 80s/90s party plan company, German, sold all over. Nice quality stuff.

I remember hearing about it on the boards, but it wasn't sold here.

The bracelet doesn't look like nice quality.

On another board where I asked about this, someone suggested Julie Vos for the gold bracelet. I saw several very similar bracelets, but none exactly like mine. I'm not sure about the mark. Most of her pieces are marked quite differently, but I did see a few with just the one word Julie in script, so mine could be an incomplete stamp with the top of the mark missing.
I'm not sure, as the only bracelet I saw marked like that was stamped on the toggle bar, not the round link.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Julie Vos does show some bracelets online that look like yours. But hers also have small "dangles" (not sure if that is the right name) with her logo on them.

Meanwhile, I never realized there are so many different designs on jewelry toggle closures!

I've had pieces of hers before with and without the dangle. I'm going to put this aside with all the other things I'm unsure about, to be revisited another day.
