Featured Flower Basket Door Stop 2 pieces. Hubley?

Hi, New to the group. My grandmother recently passed and left a ton of things. I'm trying to sort out what to treasure and what to donate. She has this lovely (very heavy) doorstop. I thought maybe it was a Hubley but cannot find anything like it on the internet. It appears to have been painted at one time but now mostly gold in appearance. It has two pieces joined by a rather large screw with marking 1712 and Z.R. Would be grateful if anyone has information on it.

 

This might be Hubley.

 

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't sure because I could not find any that look like this basket or even any baskets that have a 2 piece design.

 

I had one similar that was Hubley but didn't have the elaborate handle and the flowers were colored although yours might have been repainted.

 

Sure looks like it's been repainted....I've seen them with the old colored paint on them as well!

It does look like the Peerage one. If you could show a photo of (the back of the top ring) we might be able to see it.

 

Oh my...thank you. This is very helpful. There is no markings on the back of the handle...my husband said he thought this was brass but I didn't think they came in brass (lol...not extremely educated on this stuff).
