Help me identify please!!

I need help identifying the maker and age if possible. Any help is appreciated!! I'm also wondering if this was a nicer dresser or just your standard. I can tell you it's got 4 coats of pain!!!

 

Partical board back is not a good sign.

 

1960s, standard grade, mass produced. Without a mark, hard telling who made this.

 

What does bfco mean? Does anyone on here know. I'm just curious, it's just a cheap chest for my daughter's to use.

 

Paint it again in the color of their choice and put some really nice draw-pulls on it.

Two are 5 and one is 9. I like that except maybe teal to blue, the 9 yr olds favorite color.

 

I did figure out that it's a Bassett. After stripping and sanding, I believe it's a Bassett blonde chest. Bassett uses the same back markings as mine and after I googled bassett blond chest of drawers, I found a few almost identical. That's my opinion!!

 

Could very well be Bassett. Good middle-of-the-road furniture. This is a great candidate for a two-tone paint job.
