    Hello!
Today I am looking for some help in pricing a dining room set that was left to me from my grandmother. The only tag is on the bottom of the chairs- Georgia-pacific Williams furniture division. I have the whole set. 8 chairs, dining table and the China cabinet as pictured below. I saw someone in another thread that had the chairs, also pictured below- I got some information from that thread but anything you could help with would be appreciated. I don’t expect millions I just have no idea where to even begin with pricing.

Someone knowledgable about furniture sure to be along shortly, Mara. In the meantime, I've taken the liberty of reposting your photographs as Full Image so they're easier for everyone to see.

Value is very dependent on where and how selling. Just used furniture so you could check to see what other used furniture sells for in your area. Here in my semi-rural Midwest neck of the woods, would need to give away that cabinet. You might be able to sell the bottom part without the hutch for $50.00 or so. Table and chairs, less than $300.00..... maybe as much as half less. You might do better in or near a large city.

yeah, I’m not really near a huge city. Western NY.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Best wishes in selling these, @Mara Pierce . You might also need to sell it locally, for somebody to pick up. Seems to me that western NY would be similar to the area where @verybrad lives. So prices might be similar. But New York is different from the Midwest, so who knows?

Hello! Where are you located? I have this exact dining room minus the cabinet.

Back story: I got divorced in 2004 and ex husband provided the formal dining set. When he moved out (infidelity) the room was so empty that I had to fill it. I drove from WV to NJ to pick up the set and found a corner cabinet for $50. I had like zero money and scraped together enough money to put something together so the room didn't seem so empty.

Now, 22 years later, I rarely use my formal dining room but I love it because its a survival piece and a testament to resiliency. If you are close enough, I would be very interested in purchasing your china cabinet. I just spent 2 hours going down a rabbit hole and found this site using google lens (yay!)

Mara was here...for a day , over 4 years ago........

I highly doubt she will ever see this..............

Plus..... asking to buy or sell here is against the rules....

but it seems a moot point in any case...;)
