Im going to try to sell for pickup locally in West Palm Beach area of Florida. All the info the forum provided has been helpful and so greatly appreciated. If anyone has recommendation for how to price them, I'm all ears! :)

I would suggest contacting a local auction house (or two) to see what they think they could sell them for. At least that would give you an idea of the local market. They are lovely.

No reason to think these are not old, most likely Victorian. Would not sell them short. Closest comparable I could find is this damaged pair that sold for $1000.00. I like yours much better.

I like the idea of consulting a good auction house.

I'd still like to know why the lions have their mouths open?
