    Hello,

I recently picked up this ring for cheap. It is Ivory and sterling silver (marked 925) in a 1970's (?) chevron design. What's interesting about it though, is it also appears to be stamped with "1.02" or maybe "I.02". I was wondering what this other stamp represents? Thank you! ring222.jpg

    I agree, 70s.
    Probably a model number.

Thanks Any Jewelry! I had thought maybe it was a karat number for the ivory but didn't want to ask a leading question :). I don't usually see rings with model numbers. Very sad that these were mass produced... and glad that practice has ended.

They may have been mass produced and set with different stones. (she said, hoping that would be the case....:nailbiting:)
