    Wow! Who on earth would cut down a painting like that....and ruin it!!! Looks like it WAS lovely!! Is it an actual "painting" in a frame or a print?? Size as well???

    PAINTING....40 CM HIGH.....30CM WIDE..THINK ITS JUST BEEN CUT FROM THE STRECHER.....BUT CANNOT FIND ANY MARKING ETC.....NEEDS SOME REPAINING

    HAD TO REDUCE THE IMAGE SIZE TO UPLOAD IT...SO ALL THE WINGS ARE THERE AND THE LEGS....PICKED IT UP A FEW YEARS AGO FROM A JUNK SHOP

    The style looks Spanish, or Spanish colonial (Mexico, South America, Philippines).

    Yours is a Spanish Colonial painting of the Cuzco school featuring one of the Archangels. (Gabriel?) It is likely a reproduction. They are often sold on canvas unframed. A Google search will bring up many, many other examples. Lots of "wow" factor but... Value (if indeed a reproduction) is decorative.

    I agree with Debora, it looks like Cuzco school, from Peru. Difficult to say more without more photos.
    Cuzco School paintings have very elaborate Peruvian Baroque frames.

    If you email it to yourself as size medium, it should resize UNDER 1 MB and then be able to post here full without cutting any of the image off......

    I associate lilies with Gabriel. They often appear in paintings of the Annunciation.
