Silver mark on brooch?

This appears to be broken as the leaves don’t flow, I didn’t notice that when I bought it. I think the black is glass but I wondered about the mark. Any info please? Thank you

House, I think you mean the leaf to the right of the stone? That is folded over a twig and ends against the setting of the stone. It doesn't look broken to me.

I can't see the mark very well, maybe someone can tweak it?

 

I hadn’t considered that the leaf was folded, it could be, not curved properly though and looked a bit sharp at the edge. I’m sorry about the clarity concerning the mark, I’m not at home to clean it up. I shall soon be experimenting photoing with a magnifying glass.

I think SiS got the mark as good as you can from that image.....mine is too close!
