Achieve Alsbach Mark Mystery

Eleven of them have the Scheibe Alsbach mark from around 1970s but this one, Murat, has a Naples style mark.

    All have near identical bases and the same impressed numbers and must be from the same maker.


    Any thoughts on why this different mark? Murat was king of Naples c1808-15 so this could be a reason .

    If it matches the other figures, it's probably from the same company, maybe at a different time. The crowned N mark is very widely copied and has been used by many companies in many countries, including some German.

    This base is 'slightly' more legible inverted, although putting cinnamon on it might achieve the same or better results, I think.....
