1029520C-34E0-4035-AFF4-160A35D166D2.jpeg Hi all! I’m happy to be here, miss y’all! Forgive me if I posted this in the past, I can’t remember, it’s been a long time since I’ve been here.
This is about 3 3/4” high. What is it a statue of? The little gray tag looks like it reads VS maybe? Is it from a museum shop? Any thoughts are very welcome and thanks for your time. The pics aren’t great I’m sorry, it’s rainy today.

The diadem indicates a goddess; the degree of nudity indicates Aphrodite/Venus.

Could be a museum reproduction although in my experience such institutions mark their merchandise very clearly.

Thing on her arm looks like a customs seal.

I can only read VS. Is there something written around edge?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

AND, when I saw that little "button" on her arm, I thought it looked a bit familiar, and all I could think of was this, which I'm sure is completely WRONG, as he's a custom jewelry designer!! I KNOW, it's NOT identical, but similar!!

I did mean customs as in inspection of imported goods for approval for entry into the country. Items are marked to show they have passed through this process & been approved. I have seen customs marks that are seals like this. I don't know what it is doing here. Can you slide it off her arm?

    Or post an in-focus close-up.

I'm curious about whether the seal can slip on & off, leaving the possibility that it has nothing to do with the statuette, or whether it's on too tightly to remove.

Original or an add-on. Yes, important to know.

Hi and thanks so much for your help! It slides on the arm but will not go over the hand. I’m gonna post a few more pics. Thanks
