Featured Glassies,paperweight help ?

    Hi all . Picked up this lovely thing recently,apparently Im a magpie for color! Its 3x3 and I thought maybe Caithness Glass,but I couldnt find a mark that matched. Any ideas and input is always appreciated.

    I typed in C"G paperweight. It looks like one of the murrine discs is a little out of whack. Adds a certain charm.

    Yup, a Caithness second. They used C II G stencilled like that, or a "hand written" C 2 G . Caithness were very fussy, so it's often impossible to spot why it's a second.

    There's an excellent website called Scotland's Glass which has great resources on, amongst other makers, Caithness.
