Pressed and cut glass decanter?! Old or new?

Hi all I picked this decanter up a while ago and really know very little about this kind of glass or crystal. It appears to have a molded "pressed" line, yet is very sharp to the touch. Part of it is frosted. How can I tell if it is older or a more modern piece? Thanks for any info that helps me learn! It is 10"H x 3.5"L x3"W. I have posted some pictures on a white and black background.

I had one similar to this one and it was German.

 

Erik, I believe it to be blown. The shoulders look to be mold formed and there's little room at the top to pull out a plunger. The pinwheels and their centers appear (from this distance) to have been cut and polished. The pontil appears ground & polished, too. Nice bottle.

Granted, the bottom is frosted, but I'd expect to see age/wear in any case, and I don't see any. It was either well cared for or ignored, or it has little age.
