To me, the head has the horns of a ram, the body looks like a snake, and the point of the tail resembles a dragon LOL. There’s a nice little opal on top of the head of the eyes are tiny red stones. Is it meant to be a dragon? I’ll need something to call it when I list it, LOL.

 

It is a ram with a rather long nose.
Ram jewellery is classic, and was already made in antiquity in the Mediterranean and Middle East.
Ah yes, the blob mark, very rare. .375 is 9 carat/karat, that is a double mark, I guess.

 

Try "ouroboros" a dragon swallowing it's tail.

I thought of that but this creature appears to have spiraling horns. But then again, a ram doesn’t have a long scaled back and a pointed tail...

(My birthstone is opal-October). According to Wikipedia for Aries the ram March/April mostly bloodstone.

I saw a ram immediately & thought it could be astrological/birth sign jewellery, but AJ is quite correct the ram's head motif is a very old one & probably at least since the Egyptians thought up Amun.

It's a ring, so borrowing the ouroboros form was a good way of tying up loose ends, so to speak. As for scales, maybe it's a capricorn, a sea-goat. There must be male ones.

 

Plenty in this style listed as Rams Head. Even with red eyes. Just can’t find this one.

OMG, HOW DID I MISS THAT?!?!?!!

 

Once saw a graduation charm for a bracelet described as 'vintage'. It was from 2 years earlier. Then there are the sellers who describe something as 'antique' and go on to say it dates to the decade when I was born. Have to restrain myself.

Had a good laugh. A neighbor kid once said at a flea market. On my gosh that thing was made back in the 1950s. I said that was only a few years ago, then I remembered that it was 68 years ago.
