Assume an English-speaking artist. What part of the world did you find it in? And please be sure to post photographs of work including frame both front and back. The frame provides clues as to dating which in turn provides clues as to artist.

Well done! What a nice thing to own. From what I can see yours is a newer frame. This one would, I think, be closer to original date of work.

No. Yours is one of an edition of 100; they would have all been printed at the same time.

It's odd that the other has last name only but all good.

They would have been signed individually.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

with different names.....on the same edition......????

please show me others where that is the case because I am unfamiliar with that style of signing..

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

from what I see...not so good....
from here..... your print looks to have been trimmed down which would normally kill the value ...going forward..

I have know artists who only sign and number their prints once they have been sold. In such cases the signature changes over time. I also knew an artist that only used to pull his etchings in small batches so an edition of 50 might have been completed only after many years.

Wiki Bio; Ghitta Caiserman-Roth - Wikipedia
She is shown as hyphenated Caiserman-Roth however divorced Max Roth in 1962.

The size of the litho is the same as the Waddingtons as well regarding being trimmed down comment.

Comments? Thank you, all learning right..

I read she married Max Roth in 1962 and her daughter, born in 1954, changed her surname to Roth at age 18. I would suspect that it was then -- the early-1970s -- that she began using the hyphen so that the entire family shared a surname. (Before then, by way, it would have been almost unthinkable for a woman to hyphenate her surname and, more importantly, it was illegal. One of the battles fought and won by the Women's Movement.)
