I found this at a thrift store Friday - I tried looking up the age with it's serial number but the best I can guess is before/at 1920's or around 1940's!?
    Can anyone tell it's age?
    Thank you!

Thanks wiscbirddog - usually when I misspell a word and hit enter to search, the computer shows a Did you mean ... and the word with the correct spelling & I just click on it - it's made me lazy I believe.

For a moment I thought it was a Medieval clarinet which once belonged to the German mystic Meister Eckhart. Just goes to show how wrong you can be.:joyful:

    Beautiful clarinet though.

I haven't found an online serial number resource for Windsor instruments; a lower-priced line for Selmer, pre-WW II, I believe.
I'd be a bit skeptical personally about buying one for resale, as it can easily cost thousands of dollars to make such an instrument playable; but that is just my opinion.

I got it for $25 - I figured it was worth that as a decor piece because of it's age if nothing else?

    That seems likely.
