Ive recently inherited some furniture. From what it looks like it comes from Hong Kong from a company called Majestic Co. However, I'm having a hard time finding more information on this particular set. I will be getting rid of it soon but would like to get a fair price on it.
Im unaware of how I would even go about selling it to more authentic buyers looking for a piece of history and not just some craigslist purchase.
In other words, it's far too beautiful to end up in a frat house.

Any leads on pricing or to antique shops that specialize in this type of furniture will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Just a thought to keep in mind: once a buyer pays the price you want it is no longer yours to determine if it goes in a frat-house or into a burn-pit for that matter.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

It’s most difficult to view your images all grouped together into one larger one, plus two at different angles!! Next time you post, please separate each image…..that would be most helpful!! Thank you! It looks like there’s some nice detailed carving in those cabinet doors…..you might want to at least inquire with a decent auction house for an estimate, that deals in this type of furniture…..

I am not sure there are any buyers looking for this type of furniture for historical reasons. As far as I know, this period is only of interest to buyers who collect MCM style, which your set certainly isn't.
So if you only want the 'historical interest' buyers, you may have to get used to this set staying in your house for a considerable period of time.

To broaden your horizon regarding buyers: Another type of buyer could be someone who likes an extravagant Asian look, without any specific historic or stylistic interest.

I see some of it in a store setting, maybe. Decorators are often after "mood" creating pieces. That's your best hope, anyway, for they always pay top dollar.
