This is a new name for me, I googled PVM and came up with it. There isn’t much information out there, the website is pretty bare as is the Facebook page, and not much on eBay.
Does anyone know anything about this jewellery designer?
Wonder if there are collectors out there?
    Charity shop £2.99 .
These earrings are huge! C1.5” long and chunky.
    Thanks for any information :)

How have I never heard of her? Is she big in the USA then?

If you’re selling them online definitely make sure you’re open to US buyers.

YES. Goes back to early Donna Karan when she was with Anne Klein. She’s an American jewelry icon. It’s her cuff that Kinski is wearing in the famous Avedon snake photo.

Yes, very important in the 1980s.

I feel like I’ve been living under a rock :hilarious:
Why is there very little of her jewellery ‘out there’? Haven’t checked Etsy,I’ll look there. Maybe it doesn’t often come over the pond?
    Edit-
Not much on Etsy either. Quite pricey though.

No clue as I’m relatively shocked that she isn’t that well known in the UK. She’s definitely an “esoteric designer” but she’s been active forever (I haven’t looked up her age but she’s in her 70s). I believe all product has always been USA made which may be why her following is here. She’s designed all kinds of stuff but is probably best known as being part of the circle of the Robert Lee Morris/Artwear crowd. I had cuffs in the 80s-no idea what happened to them. Oh well!

She worked directly with designers and only sold to accounts like Bergdorf Goodman. Her work wasn't mass produced. But very important. (She has pieces in The Met's collection.)

One would wonder how a pair of her earrings ended up in a Charity shop in a small backwater of the UK.
She may be very well known, don’t forget I’m a newbie in the jewellery world and until a few years ago I was only ever interested in horses, I wouldn’t have known a jewellery designer unless they rode a horse!

Yes, it's always interesting to wonder how things end up where they do.

Weird stuff happens, and small bits like jewelry can go anywhere. That said, I've never heard of her either.

Again, she’s pretty esoteric but definitely a fashion rock star of the Studio 54 headset. A specific time and group that included Ted Muehling, Robert Lee Morris, Cara Croninger etc. I still love all those guys but bought very little although I still wish I had those lucite cuffs. I did cross over a bit but pretty much stayed with Peretti during that time.

Don't worry, we rarely get US designer names in Europe. I hadn't heard of her either.
Don't get me wrong, US designers are good, but ours is just a different market with different dominant parties.

I'm also comfy under our rock, great company.:) As long as I can see across that water our rock is looking out on.;)
