Spirit of St Louis Tumbler - Real, Repro, or Fantasy?

    Just over 3 3/4" tall with top diameter of 2 5/8", this straight sided tumbler appears to commemorate Lindbergh's flight across the Atlantic. The glass is semi-transparent and the bottom is flat. Color is off in my photos: the white is pure white and the graphics are black. One like it just sold on Ebay, but the seller just calls it "vintage".

    And got a nice price for it too. If I had to make an educated guess, I'd think commemorative 50th anniversary item.

    Not sure if it will make a difference but the one that sold has 'Pat Appl'd For' on it.

    He also says his is 3 3/4" x 1 11/16 and holds 4 oz. Mine is approximately the same height but almost twice as wide and holds 8 oz. Maybe they came in more than one size?
